Miss Nordic Beauty 2024 competition and the accompanying TV series "Missien Matkassa Maailmalla" represented a significant entity in the Finnish beauty pageant scene in 2024. Miss Nordic Beauty 2024 Competition
Miss Nordic Beauty is a Finnish beauty pageant that seeks representative, skilled, and PR-oriented women to compete on international stages in Asia. After a hiatus of over ten years, the competition made a spectacular comeback, beginning its tour in Finland at the end of January 2024 and culminating in the finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in April. The top three finalists crowned at the finale were given the opportunity to represent Finland in international competitions and serve as brand ambassadors on global markets.
The competition’s owner, Miia Nikunen, a finalist in the 2006 Miss Finland competition, revived the pageant to meet the growing demand for Nordic beauty in Asia. She emphasized that Finnish beauty, intelligence, versatility, high educational levels, and resilience are highly valued in Asian countries.
The winner of the competition was Katriina Markkanen, who was not originally part of the initial competition lineup. Jasmin Salminen was chosen as the first runner-up and Ella Lehtinen as the second runner-up.
"Missien Matkassa Maailmalla" TV Series
In parallel with the competition, a six-part documentary reality TV series, "Missien Matkassa Maailmalla," was produced, following the contestants' journey and preparations for the finale. The series provided viewers with a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and follow the lives of the beauty contestants both in Finland and abroad. The first episode aired on the Eveo TV channel on June 3, 2024, and received positive feedback from viewers.

Nordic Event Management oversaw the entire production as the production manager, ensuring the planning, coordination, and implementation of both the competition and the TV series.
